Manual address and subdomain

Every Visualbook runs at its own address in the form yourbrand.visualbook.pro. Learn where the address comes from, which other addresses derive from it and which one to send to whom.

Where the address comes from

You choose the address when ordering in the configurator – it is the name in front of .visualbook.pro. It can be 2–40 characters long and contain only lowercase letters without accents and digits, with no spaces or hyphens, for example acme or cityofbrno. The trial runs at this address from day one.

Visualbook sets the address when it creates the manual, and you cannot change it in the panel. If you need a different one, contact support.

Addresses derived from the main one

Several other addresses derive from the main one. They all start the same way and differ only in the ending.

The address of each page comes from its name, for example …/logo or …/colors. To change it or set up a redirect, see Page address and redirects.

Which address to send to whom

  • Visitors (employees, agencies, print shops) – the main manual address, or a direct link to the page they need, such as …/logo.
  • Editors – the panel address …/panel, or the Login portal.
  • Partners with their own AI tool – the public connector address …/mcp/public, if you have it turned on. See What the AI connector is.

An address on your company domain

Instead of yourbrand.visualbook.pro, the manual can run on a subdomain of your company, such as brandmanual.company.com. Custom subdomains are included in every edition; Custom domain describes the steps. The original address then redirects to the new one, so older links keep working.

Questions and answers

Can the address contain a hyphen or a dot?

The configurator accepts only lowercase letters and digits. If you want an address like brand-manual.company.com, use a custom domain.

Where do I find the address if I forget it?

In the confirmation email from the configurator, or in the browser’s address bar while the panel is open – the panel runs at the same address with /panel at the end.
