A security release. Every manual has its own security keys, and protection of content, files and sign-in is more thorough. New rules for the multibrand structure and more reliable page copying.

After the update4

  • Sign in to the Panel again.
  • Reconnect your AI connectors (MCP).
  • Links to files protected by a password or e-mail need to be sent again. Visitors of a password-protected manual enter the password again.
  • Direct file addresses (starting with /media/) change. Insert files into texts using the file picker; such links update on their own.

Security4

  • Own security keys for every manual.
  • Security improvements to sign-in, user permissions, protected files, draft pages and how content is displayed on the website, in the Panel and in the AI connector.
  • Videos embedded in text play from YouTube and Vimeo. Content from other services (Canva, Figma, Google, SlideShare) is added with the Embedded content section.
  • A verified e-mail for protected files stays valid for 8 hours after verification.

Panel9

  • A more accurate preview of the Colours card in the Blended circles style. The circles are the same size as on the card on the website.
  • A page copy can be placed at the top level of the website. The copy follows the same rules as moving a page.
  • A clearer multibrand. Only brands and external links can now be created at the top level of the website; content pages belong under a brand. Existing pages stay as they are.
  • Addresses reserved for Visualbook features and languages cannot be used for a top-level page, so that every page can be opened.
  • System pages (home, search, error, users) cannot be duplicated or moved.
  • More reliable page copies with languages turned off and during simultaneous changes to the website structure.
  • A page copy gets its address from the website's main language, even when the Panel is switched to another language.
  • When another change to the website structure is in progress (deleting, copying or moving pages), the Panel shows a clear message after a moment instead of a long wait.
  • More reliable reordering of rows and columns in tables.

AI connector (MCP)5

  • Copying and moving pages in the AI connector follow the same rules as in the Panel, including the top level of the website.
  • Cards on the home page are chosen by the AI connector only from pages offered by the card picker in the Panel.
  • More reliable reordering and copying of pages in the AI connector, even while someone changes the website structure in the Panel.
  • Neater cleanup of unsafe links in text written through the AI connector.
  • Connected AI apps of other users can also be managed by an Administrator. Changing an account's e-mail disconnects its AI apps.

  • Locked pages with e-mail verification: after a typo in the code, the visitor stays at the code entry and sees how many attempts are left.
  • Signing in with the global password always clearly says what happened, how many attempts are left and when to try again.
  • The font module shows loading messages and the list of supported languages in the website language, the same in all browsers.
  • A video embedded in text is shown at the full width of the text.
  • Images without a description and decorative images on cards no longer have their file name read out by screen readers.
  • The Font usage table shows the default usage names in the page language until the editor renames them.

  • Adjusted spacing of alerts in the frontend editor.
  • More reliable card links in the Offline static export.
